CSR in Law: How Are Law Firms Contributing to Society?

At a time when the legal profession is increasingly called upon to lead by example, we’re opening the conversation on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the legal sector.

Across our network, we’re proud to see meaningful initiatives taking shape.

🇪🇸 In Spain, our member firm álvarez lentner conducted the“Monographic Seminar on Legal Labor Counseling for Women” at the Department of Equality of Torrejón de Ardoz to promote gender equity. They also delivered a training session at HOGAR SÍ (a foundation that supports the homeless community) on labor law applicable to the daily lives of people in situations of social exclusion.

🇲🇽 Meanwhile, our colleagues in Mexico from Bufete Sales Boyoli, S.C. have extended their impact by supporting Comedor Santa María, a remarkable institution committed to fighting food insecurity in Mexico City. They also provide support to the Parish of Saint Josemaría Escrivá, a Church that offers both spiritual and emotional guidance to its community. Beyond its religious services, the parish is deeply involved in helping those in need offering material support such as clothing and economic help.

🇮🇹 Lexellent, our Italian member is proud to support WeWorld Onlus, an organisation dedicated to safeguarding the rights of women and children around the globe. We have a particularly strong dedication to WeWorld as one of our partners, Marco Chiesara, serves as its chairperson. We are especially proud to champion the WeWorld Festival, an initiative that aligns with our values of social responsibility.

Beyond WeWorld, Lexellent‘s partners are deeply involved in various civil society initiatives. Giulietta Bergamaschi is the chairperson of Parks Liberi e Uguali, an association dedicated to promoting inclusivity and combatting discrimination. Giovanni battista benvenuto is the chairperson of I Pomeriggi Musicali, a renowned orchestral institution that enriches the cultural landscape.

Our commitment to the community is reflected in our annual traditions. Every Easter and Christmas, Lexellent buys sweets from associations that support children, young people and adults who are facing difficult circumstances. These organizations work with schools and reception communities through projects, providing vital assistance and hope.

These actions, while modest in scale, reflect a broader commitment to creating positive change beyond the courtroom.
