Merete Furesund
Merete Furesund is a partner at Homble Solheim. She joined the firm in August 2025 and was previously a partner at Littler Norway. Merete Furesund is a member of the Norwegian Bar Association and has practised as a lawyer since 2001.
Merete Furesund primarily works with employment related matters. She is specialised in collective labor law and has litigated several high-profile cases before the Labour Court and the ordinary courts. She also has extensive experience in pension law, litigation and dispute resolution (including litigation before the Norwegian Supreme Court and the EFTA Court).
Merete Furesund is co-author of the chapter on working hours on arbeidsrett.no and the Norwegian chapter in Workforce Restructuring in Europe, Bloomsbury 2015.
Merete Furesund serves on the board of the Inclusion and Diversity Committee of the Norwegian Association of Lawyers, and on the Advisory Board of “Advokatenes HR.”
